The College Archives collection comprises a rich selection of material documenting the history of the Convent of the Sacred Heart Remuera and Baradene College from 1909 to the present. This collection includes photographs, audio visual material, school journals, school magazines, uniforms, correspondence, building plans, films and oral histories. Some of these series have been scanned and are searchable. The mission of the Baradene College Archives is the acquisition and preservation of materials of value which document the College’s administrative, academic, social and spiritual life and to provide access to these materials.

Donations

Alumnae

The Archives houses the official records of the College, including its publications. In addition, the Archives collects materials from alumnae relating to their years at the College. The Archives seeks to collect materials that supplement the official records of the College. We are always keen to receive new records from Alumnae, or from family members of alumnae. We are looking specifically for records that are pieces of your story at Baradene. We welcome donations like diaries, journals, examination papers, correspondence home, workbooks, photographs and scrapbooks. Please contact us to discuss your donation if you feel you have items that would help to complete the collection.
