A team of 18 girls competed in the NZSS Cross Country Nationals last weekend in Christchurch in icy temperatures. There was a large field competing in each grade with well over 120 athletes in the senior race. Baradene had 3 top ten individual placings and medalled in the team results. Five of the athletes Natalya Carter, Charlotte Carter, Bella Morton, Sofia Parini and Gemma Carter also represented the Auckland region in the regional relays.
